Welcome to Freedom Academy...a school like no
other.
Picture this: an educational setting where
students love to come every day, teachers, staff and administration
work extraordinary hours because they love their jobs and are seeking
the highest standards of excellence for their students, and a parent
community that donates in every imaginable way. There you will
find the heart and core of a highly successful K-8 charter school.
What began as a vision seven years ago (summer 2003), stands
as a symbol of commitment and determination by hundreds of
stakeholders who knew there was a better model for academic growth
and achievement and was determined to create just that. Long
lists of patient families after each annual lottery to fill the few
available openings attest to the stunning quality and sought-after
setting of Freedom
Academy.
Significant progress in our 2009 state testing indicates that students
are far and above the state averages and those of surrounding
districts. A community of genuine caring, collaboration at
every turn, flexibility, and high expectations are pervasive
throughout every classroom, activity and committee. Come take a
